It was so sad when Emma got turned away from the play place at IKEA. Emilie wanted to go there to play and when we arrived we found that Emma was "too short" to play. Isn't that silly?! She is almost 4 yrs. old and is potty trained and they wouldn't let her in. They were disappointed to say the least, but I helped turn their frowns upside down by telling them we could play in the kid toy section of the store and then go swimming. They had a good time in IKEA even though those mean people turned us away :( We spent like 4 hours at the pool afterward and they loved it. They did not want to leave, but I was so hungry that I made us all go home for dinner. We also had some fun in the sun (thanks Krizin fam- we LOVE your pool).
Ikea...making lemonade out of lemons.
PLUS messing up their displays as revenge for discriminating against smaller 3 1/2 yr. olds. J/K!
Check out Ethan's pointed toes! Great form :) Ha Ha

p.s. yesterday emma woke up and asked "can we go play at ikea's kid place?" i said "no honey. sorry but you are not tall enough." she said "but i ate food, drank water, and rested so i grew and am bigger now!" she was so hopeful. i had to explain she was still not tall enough.

That is complete hog wash! Our Ikea here told us Benji could go to the play room after he was potty trained. They didn't even measure him! BOO to you Texas Ikea!
On the opposite side of toddler height. My son is the average height of a 6 year old. Not even kidding. He is tall enough to ride the Disneyland rides! At 3! WAHHHHHH!
Hang in there Emma! Keep drinking that water. And you will totally grow!!! :)
